 Description:
The Wentzl Hotel is situated in one of the most beautifully displayed houses on the Main Market Square in Krakow - the 15 th century residence, called The Cellari's House, also known as the building "Under the Painting".
In 1792 John Wentzl founded in this building the Wentzl Restaurant, which has been well-recognized until today. The hotel itself has a unique atmosphere. And the towers of St Mary's church, the Cloth Hall and St. Adalbert's church seem to be only an arm's reach from the windows of the Wentzl Hotel. Rooms:
The hotel offers 12 comfortable, and period furnished apartments (one or two beds), from which you can admire the beauty of the Market Square and feel its unique climate.

Stayed in the Wentzl in the Market Square.
This hotel is outstanding and perfectly sited to view the city.
The staff were polite and helpful and the hotel warm and cosy.
Loved every minute of our stay in Krakowt but we were put off going into some bars and restaurants by the smoky atmosphere...it really was disgusting!
The people of Krakow were warm and welcoming.
We were in awe of the architecture and loved St Mary's Basillica with the bugle blowing every hour on the hour.
It was lovely to look out of our hotel at the beautiful Market Square.
We all decided it would not be long before our return.
Hopefully, the smoking problem will be resolved by then at least in the restaurants.

The cuisine in the restaurant was superb, however it was a shame that there was no bar or lounge area in which to meet up with friends prior to going out or on returning in the evening to round the night off. The rooms were beatifully decorated, clean and fresh with very bright bathrooms. A little more light in the bedrooms would have been welcome though. |

The staff could not be any more helpful or cheerful, they all made our stay the greatest. The location is unbelievable, overlooking the whole market square, a beautiful site. We would definately stay there again and recommend this hotel to make anyone. The staff went out of their way to make our stay beyond comfortable and enjoyable. |

What a great place, very friendly and helpful staff, whether you're looking for touring advise ordering a cab or getting breakfast in bed they were always very great. Stayed in a suite which had a very spacious, parisienne feel to it. Had read a review about the place in the Sunday Times and would also highly recommend. |
