The Wentzl Hotel is situated in one of the most beautifully displayed houses on the Main Market Square in Krakow - the 15 th century residence, called The Cellari's House, also known as the building "Under the Painting". In 1792 John Wentzl founded in this building the Wentzl Restaurant, which has been well-recognized until today. The hotel itself has a unique atmosphere. And the towers of St Mary's church, the Cloth Hall and St. Adalbert's church seem to be only an arm's reach from the windows of the Wentzl Hotel.

The hotel offers 12 comfortable, and period furnished apartments (one or two beds), from which you can admire the beauty of the Market Square and feel its unique climate. Each room has a bathroom (shower or bath), manually-adjusted air conditioning, TV, telephone, free-of-charge internet and a Mini Bar.
The Renaissance interior of the Wentzl Restaurant is perfect for a deightful meal, served with a most selective choice of excellent wines and aromatic Havanas. Interiors of the restaurant show admirable paitings from Wojciech Fibak famous collection "Ecole de Paris".

Hotel Wentzl is the only hotel in Cracow situated on the Market Square. You couldn't ask for a more central location!

The Wentzl Hotel is a beautiful hotel, ideally situation right on the market square, central Krakow. From it we had wonderful views over the city, and could easily walk around this old and beautiful city.
The cuisine in the restaurant was superb, however it was a shame that there was no bar or lounge area in which to meet up with friends prior to going out or on returning in the evening to round the night off. The rooms were beatifully decorated, clean and fresh with very bright bathrooms. A little more light in the bedrooms would have been welcome though.

This is best hotel we have ever stayed at. Spacious, clean, magical place. The staff could not be any more helpful or cheerful, they all made our stay the greatest. The location is unbelievable, overlooking the whole market square, a beautiful site. We would definately stay there again and recommend this hotel to make anyone. The staff went out of their way to make our stay beyond comfortable and enjoyable.

The hotel was absolutely first-rate in every respect and was a geniune delight. It was extremely comfortable, the best possible location in Krakow, outstanding service, remarkable air conditioning, wireless internet: all one could wish with a sole exception: the absence of an elevator made the climb to the top floor arduous (but worth it!).

I stayed at the Wentzl for a long weekend in December with my girlfriend as a pre-Christmas trip and present. What a great place, very friendly and helpful staff, whether you're looking for touring advise ordering a cab or getting breakfast in bed they were always very great. Stayed in a suite which had a very spacious, parisienne feel to it. Had read a review about the place in the Sunday Times and would also highly recommend.
