The best thing about Unikat is its staff. They are very friendly and go above and beyond on behalf of their guests. These people would not be out of place at the best hotels anywhere in the world. Other than that I would NOT recommend to stay there to anybody. The room size, the decor (or lack of it), the noise from the street all through the night and of course the lack of air condition - relaxing vacations do not make.

Very helpful staff full of recommendations for restaurants, good rooms, ten feet from the Main Square. Probably a little expensive for Poland but given the location in the main tourist part of a big city it is quite reasonable.

I had a wonderful stay at the Unikat. The staff here are among the most helpful, friendliest that I have ever experienced, a welcome surprise after some rather unwelcoming experiences over the past few weeks. The location is wonderful. It is terrific to be able to pop in and out of the hotel, steps from the square and steps from the park surrounding the old town. 700m from Wawel Castle. My single room was tiny, but the shower/bathroom are nice. Wifi is great and the front desk staff will help with whatever you need. This stay really stands out as an example of terrific customer service. They made it a pleasure. I extended my stay here by 2 days!

Unikat is very well positioned for the Old Town Square .The reception staff were very helpful. I stayed in a room facing over the courtyard which was very peaceful and I slept very well. The bedlinen was clean but a little worn. The bathroom was perfectly good. Breakfast was hearty and the staff at the bar, next door where it was served, were also very friendly. Overall good value for money.

Gute Unterkunft mitten in der Altstadt, moderater Preis, guter Service, sehr gute Erreichbarkeit. Ich werde ab jetzt immer versuchen, dort zu buchen.

Great little place. Friendly staff. The rooms are not in the same building as the reception but it wasn’t a problem. Rooms were secure, clean, warm and were only about 60 seconds walk from the main square. Would have given it 5 stars but the breakfast options were a bit poor in my opinion.

Wislna 10 was excellent value for money. Our (triple en-suite) room was enourmas and very clean. The beds were comfy with a duvet, blanket and foam bounce-back type pillow. There was also a table and 4 chairs which was useful for playing card games. The bathroom was fairly small but very nice with a superb shower and a heated towel rail. It could have done with a plug for the wash basin though. The towels were fairly basic, but large and clean (although they smelled very slightly of cigarettes). The TV didn't show any english speaking programmes so we didn't use it. The breakfast was lovely, although as vegetarians there were only two set breakfasts to choose from, and no fruit or cereal, mainly cheese and bread. The breakfast room itself was lovely, down in the basement and the service was efficient. The best thing about the B&B was the location, just off the main square so very central, yet quiet and close to a small supermarket. There were quite a few steps up to the room and down to breakfast, and no lift, so it can be awkward carrying suitcases and for people who have trouble walking. However, installing a lift would spoil the character of the building which was was very old and beautiful inside. With three of us sharing a room, we could have done with an extra key, but we didn't even ask for one so we can't complain. All in all, I would definitely stay here again. Great location and superb value for money!

Our visit to Krakow was a wonderful experience. We originally planned to go to Krakow so that we could visit Auschwitz, but we soon realised that Krakow as a city has so much for the tourist to see and do. Definitely worth a visit.

Our room was in 3rd floor without lift. It's difficult for elderly and handicapped person. It should be mentioned in description!! However, bathroom was really clean, like brand new.

Wonderful city! Accommodation was OK but I got the impression that there was a mix up somewhere with our booking and the staff were initially not happy. Appliances eg an iron for clothes were not available, even though it was written that they were. The expereince of Krakow was fantastic!

I like Wilsna B&B. It is conveniently located in the old town (just two minute walk to the market square)& within walking distance to interesting places in Krakow. Although my single room is rather small, the toilet & shower room in my room is very clean. Perhaps some hooks should be stuck to the door or wall of the bathroom for hanging towels or clothes. Breakfast is good & the people working at the reception are helpful & friendly. Perhaps they need to smile a bit more. Security wise, I do feel safe as there are double locked doors before entrance to my room. Overall, I had a god stay in Krakow except for the unpleasant unncessary interrogation at Immigration, Krakow Airport.
