Welcome to 5 Marii Curie Street where you can enjoy Krakow’s old world charm in a convivial and relaxing atmosphere.
Phoebe and Richard Ryrko & their three children initially planned a one year sabbatical to Poland to discover lost relatives, explore Europe and enjoy some mountain air. By the time the snow began to fall in December it was clear that Krakow had a magic that was not to be given up lightly and they decided to stay for the long term, in Marii Curie Sklodowskiej No5 they have made a wonderful home and a beautiful city retreat. The Apartment & the Rooms
Taking over 140 square metres and packed with original features, the apartment includes a dining area with a splendid table that seats up to twelve people, and a full kitchen with dishwasher, oven & hob and fridge, along with plenty of storage for longer stays. An array of other gadgets including coffee maker, toaster and microwave will make your stay comfortable. You'll also find some coffee and tea as well as biscuits so you can refresh yourselves after your journey without having to go to the shops. Nice.
The apartment can accommodate up to 10 people. Bathrooms are not en-suite but each room has its own private bathroom within the apartment. We give you hand & shower soap and towels and you'll find complimentary mineral water in your rooms upon your arrival.
The Apartment
The Apartment as a whole is simply beautiful. With original features and contemporary touches, a comfortable, enjoyable stay is guaranteed.
The Blonde Room
An extremely large double room (the bed is 210cm wide, perhaps the biggest bed in Krakow!) This large family suite also includes a large sofa bed, comfy chairs beside a real fire for cosy nights in and private bathroom.
The Blue Room

High season (April - October) Apartment for 2 people – 550 PLN (approx. 123 EUR, 165 USD, 112 GBP)
Low season (November - March) Apartment for 2 people – 460 PLN (approx. 103 EUR, 138 USD, 93 GBP)
There is an additional adult supplement of 50 PLN per person per night up to a maximum of 10 persons.
Minimum Stay: high season - 3 nights, low season - 2 nights, Christmas - 5 nights

The street is in the heart of Krakow, only 4 minutes walk from the Rynek (the main square), or a little longer if you take a stroll through the ‘Planty’, Krakow’s glorious ring of trees. Built in the late 1800s, the architecture exudes faded romantic grandeur. The apartment is peaceful and stylish incorporating antiques and modern furniture, with artwork from friends, family and local artists hanging on the walls, there to savour, discuss & delight.
