Art-Mont

The room and service was perfect in every way. In the main square, we were served the best food I have tasted in recent memory. Also, the entertainment in the square was of the highest, world class, quality. I would advise one to go... if only just to hear the trumpeter and marvel at the powerful sense of historical irony that it invokes.

The room was comfortable and clean and the rates were very reasonable considering the center of the of the old town was an easy 5 minute stroll. If you a high quality room with fancy furnishings and want to pay 3X the rate then this is not for you. There is a quiet courtyard that we used to relax at the end of the day. Beata was very friendly and accommodating. My brother and I arrived early by train (630 am) and since the room was free allowed us to use it much earlier then is the normal case. Our train back home was leaving at 10pm and Beata let use leave our bags with her until we picked them. I and my brother would return on our next trip to Krakow. The following has nothing to do with Art-Mont or Krakow. While we were traveling to Krakow by train from Prague at about 4am in our 1st class compartment by brother and I were sleeping there was an attempted pickpocketing. The Guest House was conveniently situated for walking access to Market Square and Jewish quarter, plus to both Bus and Train Stations. The room was clean and adequately furnished, advice and help was freely available, in English, if required. I have no hesitation in reccommending Art-Mort to my friends and family.

Fantastic guest house, really friendly helpful owners, rooms clean and comfortable, its is really useful to ahve the cooking area so you dont ahve to eat out all the time. Great location 5 mins walk from the main square but not in a crowded touristy place. Definately recommend.

Don't be put off by the unrenovated facade of the old building - Art-Mont is excellent value for money, very near the centre, clean and with very friendly and helpful English speaking staff. I got a single room for an excellent price; I expected to share a bathroom, but as bathrooms are shared between two rooms only, that was hardly an inconvenience. The room had a TV and access to a fridge and an electric kettle (tea and coffee courtesy of the hotel). Apart from the carpeting, everything else in the hotel is new, and the rooms are basic but very friendly. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone in search for good quality budget acoommodation.

Everything was very nice. I loved how close the Art-Mont was to the major places - train station, old town - and I loved the room. It was comfortable, clean and secluded from the street. The price was great. I would definitely stay there again.

A nice hostel near to the Old Town with very kind hosts. Really liked to stay there!

I've stayed here twice now (at the recommendation of my girlfriend) - once with my girlfriend and once with my Mum and my girlfriend. It's an easily accessible lodging - consult a map - but it's a short walk from the train station and a short walk to the historical center of town. A very basic accommodation (although great value for £30 a night for a double with en-suite), the staff are helpful and have tourist brochures and maps available. The bathrooms are all brand new although, similar to lodgings of the type, the rooms are cleaned between visitors (not every day). One of the times I stayed they also had cable TV in the room - so I could keep up-to-date with the news back home too. A great place to stay and well worth the (very reasonable) cost. Krakow is spectacular too.

Great location and wonderfully helpful owners/staff. Just a couple of disappoinments. On arrival, our requested room (with kitchenette) had been double booked. The owner was lovely and offered it to us the next day, but as we'd planned to go out early it wasn't practical so we stayed in one with a fridge and kettle. Booked with cracowonline, so my advice would be to check before departure for things like this. Also I would have preferred a couple of English tv channels as we chose not to go out one cold night after a pleasurable but exhausting day sightseeing, and there's only so much world news you can enjoy on a "loop" all night!! All this aside Kracow is fantastic and we would definitely go again.

Personel byl bardzo mily i usluzny!

Our stay was tremendous, and I would also like to commend the wonderful help I recieved from the online reservation office. Although i had many changes in my travel dates and needs, they were eagerlz helpful adn understandable of our needs. The customer service skills expressed are a remarkable value to youýr companz.
