Piper's retreat was in a fab location - plenty of restaurants and bars on the door step. however the noise did not carry and the apartment was very quiet at night. in the jewish quarter and also handy for the main square. apartment very clean, two bedrooms with double beds and also 2 extra sofa beds, very modern. would recommend these fantastic apartments.

Ocena:
Superb apartment in a superb location - The Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz) is definitely the best place to stay in Krakow - cheaper and less touristy than the old town but with loads of great bars and good restaurants

Ocena:
We had 2 apartments next to each other on the same floor and both were spacious and clean. The location is good for a wide range of bars and restaurants but we did not find the apartments noisy. It is abut 20-25 minutes walk to the main square or a short tram ride.

Ocena:
Just the type of apartment that we were looking for. Clean, bright, central, all of the amenities that we could need. There was a great buzz of socialising right outside the door every evening and the market kicked off a 7.30 am which created the cultural atmosphere we were hoping for.

we visited kracow end of April and the weather was lovely we stayed 5 nights at Pipers Retreat in the jewish 1/4 it was pretty central for lots of bars and restaurants nearby and the trams stop was just around the corner. The accomodation was 2 bedroomed and the rooms were massive complete with modern IKEA kitchen all very new and clean Dont be put off by the entrance/hallway they all seem a bit grotty. Busy market square just out front but noise didnt bother us much and we are 50+ would recommend - we visited both camps and salt mines it was very educational and something we will never forget and lets face it it should never be forgotton. We made our own way there from the bus station really cheap via a mini bus dont go for the excursions as they are a rip off - its free to get into the museums. Just need really comfortable shoes as you walk for miles!!!!!!!!!!!

Ocena:
The rooms were really massive & had every thing that you could want, there was no shortage of storage space for clothes & food,i will agree with some of the other reviews about the noise from outside, in the square but cosidering that you have six or seven bars/cafes on your doorstep, you should expect some noise,( i used earplugs at night, slept like a baby).
The lights in the corridor/stairway are now working so no problem there , my only gripe and its a very small one is that the bedding had a slight musty odour from it, but as i said apart from that i would have no problems in recomending this ace appartment to everyone, plus Daniel was most welcoming & very helpfull, a very nice fella.

We were satisfied with our stay in Piper's Retreat apt. #5. What we would have liked to have was a "drying rack" for the washed clothes, an ironing board and a vacuum cleaner during our five nights of staying. Otherwise everything was OK. We appreciated the well functioning shower, that the beds were good, four adults had enough space and a nice view from the balcony. We really can recommend this apartment! No noice from the bars and cafés... in April...

Ocena:
Excellent apartment right in the heart of Kazimierz, can't recommend highly enough. The 2nd story apartment was very comfortable, simply furnished and surprisingly quiet. Perfect for the surprise 40th birthday trip we were on. Special thanks to Beata for recommending the Piper's Retreat and being there to greet us when we arrived. The Plac Nowy roundhouse proved to be the focus for all local activities and we enjoyed overlooking and browsing the many different markets that were hosted here during our 4-day stay. Excellent local restaurants and bohemian bars. Visiting Krakow is a must for its friendly people, varied cuisine and beautiful architecture.

Ocena:
What a wonderful stay in a truly unique city. All the locals were extremely friendly and helpful, and our apartment was huge, and toasty warm despite the chilly weather. The district was also perfect for us (4 girls) with an abundance of atmospheric candlelit bars and restaurants.
The only negative point was that there didn't appear to be a light in the stairwell outside our apartment door, and the door itself was a little tricky to unlock and then stiff to open. However, a very small gripe and didn't blight what was a fantastic experience.
